Tottenham could be in line to make a move for Juventus and France midfielder, Adrien Rabiot, according to reports coming from Italy this week.

Calciomercato have claimed that Juve could be open to the sale of Rabiot, and Tottenham supremo Fabio Paratici is a big fan of the Frenchman. Interestingly, it’s claimed the Turin club could accept as little as £12m for Rabiot, just months after Newcastle were quoted £22m for him.

Rabiot, who has enjoyed huge success with seven league titles to his name in his career, has been linked with a move to England on more than one occasion before. Indeed, he is a name that seems to crop up on a yearly basis during transfer windows.

But with his contract running into its final 12 months come the summer, Juventus could look to get the high-earning star of their books. Sportskeeda report how Rabiot is paid around £225k-a-week in Turin.

Tottenham are set for a big summer this time around as the club looks to back Antonio Conte. The Italian is close to delivering Champions League football and is known to want a number of new faces.

TBR’s View: Rabiot A £12m Bargain For Tottenham

For the money, you have to say Adrien Rabiot would be a good signing for Tottenham. He’s a class act when he wants to be and has experience and quality at the very highest levels.

Rabiot would bring an elegance to the Tottenham midfield which is maybe missing. However, the big question is whether he can put the work in that Conte requires. Talent wise, there is no question. This is a player who Xavi wanted at Barcelona, after all. Hugo Lloris is also a fan of Rabiot, having previously lauded his potential.

For £12m, this is a bargain buy for Tottenham. His wages might need to come down, but Rabiot, on paper anyway, is a player who should interest Spurs.
