Tottenham reportedly interested in summer swoop for Evan N’Dicka and Daichi Kamada

Tottenham are interested in a summer swoop for Eintracht Frankfurt duo Evan N’Dicka and Daichi Kamada, with the two players likely to leave the Bundesliga club in the coming months.

Bild report that the Bundesliga players are likely to depart Frankfurt this summer after Adi Hutter’s side failed to clinch a UEFA Champions League spot despite looking very likely to finish in the Bundesliga top-four for most of the season, with N’Dicka and Kamada two names in the squad who could be shipped off, and Tottenham are keen on both of them.

The report states that Tottenham ‘want’ N’Dicka this summer with the 21-year-old centre-back emerging as one of the top defensive prospects in Europe since moving to Germany.

Spurs are also one of several clubs interested in Kamada, who is a player beloved by Arsenal fans as his two goals against them in last season’s UEFA Europa League was the final nail in the coffin for ex-manager Unai Emery, who was sacked the next day after that fixture.

Tottenham are heading into what could be their most important summer in some time, with a replacement for Jose Mourinho still needing to be identified as well as potentially replacing Harry Kane, who Sky Sports News reported this week is keen to leave the north London club in the transfer market.

TBR View: N’Dicka and Kamada double swoop would fill two big holes in Tottenham’s squad

Centre-backs appear to be on Tottenham’s agenda this summer, with numerous defenders consistently being linked with a move to the north London club, and a double swoop for N’Dicka and Kamada would solve two problems for Ryan Mason’s side in the window.

N’Dicka’s performances over the years with Frankfurt have made the youngster one of the most highly-rated prospects in Germany since establishing himself as a first-team player with the Bundesliga side, whilst Kamada’s attacking and creative abilities could aid in Tottenham scoring more goals should Kane leave, as well as boosting the overall numbers in the final third for the north London side.
