The best way the hierarchy at Tottenham Hotspur could show Ange Postecoglou they full support his vision is by making signings in either the winter or the summer transfer window.

Tottenham’s board still have full faith in Postecoglou and as do the players.

But actions speak louder than words and a Tottenham side reeling in 13th place in the Premier League table are in need of reinforcements to spark life into their stale campaign.

Ange Postecoglou has requested a versatile forward to be brought into this Spurs squad.

But sadly for Postecoglou, Randal Kolo Muani looks set to join Juventus on a loan deal until the end of the season. TBR Football revealed Kolo Muani’s move to Juventus has devastated Tottenham behind the scenes.

As things stand, the Lilywhites do not have plenty of forward options to pick from.

Tottenham “monitoring” Arsenal target Bryan Mbeumo

Dominic Solanke, Heung-min Son, Brennan Johnson, Mikey Moore and Dejan Kulusevski remain the players Ange Postecoglou can pick from, with Timo Werner nursing a hamstring injury.

With Kulusevski being Tottenham’s best player this season as an attacking midfielder and Moore still being 17, that leaves Spurs with just three fit forwards to pick from as games come thick and fast.

As per a report by RMC Sport, Spurs and Manchester United are “monitoring” Bryan Mbeumo.

It has been claimed that the Premier League duo “could go on the offensive before the end of the transfer window.”

The report further states that Brentford will demand more than €50 million (£42 million) to let go of the Cameroonian winger.

Arsenal aim to sign Mbeumo this summer but according to the French outlet, even they are keeping tabs on his future.

Newcastle United are targeting Mbeumo as well, who has registered 13 goals and three assists in the league this season — with only Mohamed Salah (18), Erling Haaland (16) and Cole Palmer (14) outscoring him this campaign.

The former Troyes forward has also achieved two special feats in the English top-flight this season.

Tottenham target Bryan Mbeumo is having a special season

In terms of his output, it goes without saying how impressive it is that Mbeumo has registered 16 goal contributions in the league this term.

But according to the Premier League’s official website, the 25-year-old is the division’s best finisher.

The fact that Mbeumo has managed to emerge as the very best in this category when some of the world’s best finishers play in the Premier League is mightily impressive.

Furthermore, the versatile forward has also been the joint-fastest attacker in the division this campaign.

Mbeumo’s top speed eclipsing renowned speedsters like Mykhaylo Mudryk and Anthony Elanga showcases that is a brilliant athlete as well.

Brentford have earmarked a replacement for Mbeumo in Celtic’s Nicolas Kuhn.

As Thomas Frank and Co might be readying to lose the in-form wideman, Tottenham must capitalise.

With how tactically malleable Mbeumo is, Ange Postecoglou would likely really enjoy working with him as well.
