Tottenham have reportedly monitored Bournemouth attacker Ryan Fraser, while their North London rivals Arsenal are also keen.
According to the Mirror, Spurs scouts have been eyeing the 25-year-old that has been in brilliant form this season.
The report also details that Arsenal have the Scotland international on their wish-list and he fits the criteria of what they want to bring to the Emirates Stadium
Fraser is a speed machine that has lit up the Premier League this campaign and would be an ideal addition for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
The left-winger has made 36 appearances across all competitions this term, scoring seven goals and supplying 11 assists in return.
He is a wide man the torments full-backs with speed and directness, which is why he could add an extra dimension in the final third for Spurs and he’s really impressed in the top flight this season.
Fraser, who earns £27,000-a-week (Spotrac), would be making a considerable step up if he did join Spurs for next season.
But he’s definitely capable and could overtake Erik Lamela in the pecking order.
Lamela has been with the club since 2013 and at times shown brilliant individual quality, but bad luck with injuries and also inconsistency has been a problem.
The 27-year-old winger has six goals and three assists in 31 games this season, which is hardly pulling up any tress in an attacking side.
He’s struggled for regular starts throughout this campaign and someone with the raw pace of Fraser could be a more threatening weapon going forward than him.
