Tottenham fans react to latest performance from star teenager

Tottenham Hotspur youngster Troy Parrott fired a message to first-team boss Mauricio Pochettino last night.

The 17-year-old netted a brace in a win for the club’s Under-23 team, guiding them to victory over Swansea City.

Parrott has had a stunning first campaign at the club and has been tipped for big things in the game.

One of the Republic of Ireland Under-19 international’s goals in the win over Swansea was a stunning free-kick. Christian Eriksen is renowned for his set pieces and some supporters have compared the two.

Parrott’s career is still in its infancy but that hasn’t stopped Spurs fans raving about the youngster.

Pochettino’s men face Manchester City in the Champions League this week and it’s unlikely Parrott will feature. Some supporters are calling for him to be handed a chance against Brighton in a couple of weeks time.

Talisman Harry Kane is sidelined for the remainder of the campaign and some feel he could deputise.

Pochettino has shown during his time in charge that youngster will get a chance. Parrott has shown week on week that he can make have a bright future.
