Tottenham Hotspur are looking into the future and are in the process of identifying left-back options. Danny Rose is still expected to be moved on in the future. Ben Davies has improved, but Tottenham will still need extra cover.
Plenty of names have been mentioned. The likes of Kieran Tierney and Luke Shaw have been mentioned recently. Another name now being mentioned is Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell.
The 21-year-old has been linked with a move to Spurs by The Telegraph this week, with a move next summer the likeliest approach.
Chilwell has started the season well and has been called into the most recent England squad.
Chilwell is undoubtedly a top talent, but not everyone at his current club is convinced.

Last season, in a clash with Everton, he was found wanting. The Toffees won the game 2-1 and Chilwell was torn apart by a former Arsenal player.
Theo Walcott, often a figure of ridicule at the end of his Arsenal career from Spurs fans, left the Foxes defender chasing shadows for much of the game.
He bagged both goals, both of which Chilwell did not cover himself in glory.
Some Leicester fans have suggested his defending is not up to scratch and Tottenham must make sure that they target the right man for their left-back role. Chilwell will need to impress on a regular basis if he is to take Tottenham’s left-back role.
