Janssen exit looms

Real Betis are in talks with Tottenham Hotspur striker Vincent Janssen. Sky Sports reports that the Dutch striker could join the club on loan until the end of the season with a view to a £15 million permanent move in the summer.

The Dutchman has proven to be a flop at Spurs after his big money move from AZ Alkmaar and Spurs have been trying to shift him all summer.

Nkoudou to Monaco

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou’s apparent loan move to Besiktas has fallen through. However, he appears to be on his way to Monaco.

As reported by L’Equipe, the 23-year-old could be set to join the Ligue 1 strugglers on loan until the end of the season.

The Frenchman had been expected to join the Turkish side but it now appears a switch to Monaco is more likely.

Meite rejection

Gazzetta dello Sport is suggesting Tottenham Hotspur failed in a move to sign Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite this month. The report claims that Spurs wanted the talented Frenchman as a potential replacement for Mousa Dembele.

However, they were rebuffed. Torino also rejected a £13.5 million bid from Roma earlier in the month, according to CalcioMercato.
