Toby proof

Toby Alderweireld says his performances for Tottenham Hotspur recently proves he is happy at Spurs. He stated that fans can see he gives ‘100 per cent’ for the club and that he was happy to sign a recent one-year contract extension, even if it did trigger a release clause.

The Belgian was heavily linked with the likes of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain throughout 2018. It appears the Spurs centre-back now wants a line drawn under his apparent future with everything copacetic at Spurs.

Eriksen happy

Christian Eriksen insists he is not thinking about apparent interest in his services from Real Madrid.

There has been plenty of speculation this week that Los Merengues were keen on signing him in the summer.

However, he told TV3 in his native Denmark that there is ‘a nice dialogue’ ongoing with Spurs about a new deal.

Selke linked

Spurs are reportedly lining up a shock move for German striker Davie Selke. Fussball Transfers is suggesting the Hertha Berlin man has caught the eye of Mauricio Pochettino.

The striker scored 14 goals last season but has struggled for first-team football in the German capital this season.

The report suggests, unsurprisingly, that Selke would be keen on a move to Tottenham.
