Eriksen update

Real Madrid have ‘parked’ their intention to sign Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen. A report from AS suggests that Real Madrid felt they could get hold of the player for a maximum amount of €84 million (£73 million).

That reportedly falls way short of Tottenham’s apparent asking price.

The report claims that Eriksen has no intention of signing a new deal at Tottenham as the club will not offer him the wages he feels he deserves.

But Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is willing to risk it.

Tottenham were ‘prepared’ for Rebic

Football.London has insisted that Tottenham were willing to pay £35 million for Croatian star Ante Rebic. It comes as the World Cup star admits a desire to one day play in the Premier League.

Rebic was linked with a move to Spurs in the summer from current club Eintracht Frankfurt. Arsenal and Bayern Munich were also keen. Tottenham were reportedly ‘prepared’ to pay the price. This is certainly one to watch out for in the future.

Nkoudou deal

As reported by Yenicag Gazetesi, Besiktas are getting close to a deal for Georges-Kevin Nkoudou. The report suggests talks with the player were ‘very positive’ and a loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer was in the offing.

The transfer is, reportedly, due to be concluded in the coming days.
