Jacobs has reported that Chelsea want more than £45 million in transfer fees for Gallagher.

The 23-year-old England international midfielder wants £150,000 per week from Chelsea if he was to sign a new contract.

The report in GiveMeSport added: “Sources say Gallagher would ideally like to stay this window, especially with a League Cup Final on the horizon against Liverpool in February, but the fact Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo may well start that game in his place somewhat illustrates why Chelsea are considering trying to cash in.”

In my opinion, Tottenham Hotspur should bid for Conor Gallagher in the final days of the January transfer window.

Chelsea want £45 million for the midfielder. The Englishman is eyeing £150,000 per week as salary. So, Spurs know what they have to do.

Gallagher is a very dynamic player who can hold his own in the middle of the park, and drive the team forward, and is only 23. He can grow and develop even further.

I believe that Tottenham will be a better team with Gallagher in it. The midfielder has made 119 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. He has scored 13 goals and given 10 assists in those games.
