Tottenham Hotspur round-up: Zaha wanted, Moura could leave and Grealish talks

Zaha the one

Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to make another approach for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer. The Sun is reporting that Spurs are hoping to snap up the player, after Chelsea had a bid for his services rejected.

Spurs are hopeful that an offer of £45 million plus a massive sell-on percentage could tempt Palace more than Chelsea’s offer of £30 million plus Danny Drinkwater.

Zaha has long been linked with a move to Spurs and had the best season of his career in 2017-18.

Moura packing

The same report from The Sun has some alarming news about the future of Lucas Moura. Despite only joining Spurs in January for £23 million from PSG, they could move him on.

The report suggests Spurs are open to offloading the player. Real Betis are said to be interested and it would be a shock move, considering the relatively short time Moura has spent at Tottenham so far.

Grealish ongoing

Tottenham are also said to be in continued talks with Aston Villa regarding the signature of Jack Grealish. The Times reports that Spurs initially wanted to spend just £20 million on the player. That fee now looks unlikely, as Aston Villa are now under new ownership.

A fee closer to £40 million is being mentioned. Grealish, however, wants to talk to Tottenham, but will not demand an exit from his boyhood club.
