Tottenham have reportedly lodged a bid for Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida after his impressive performances for Croatia at the World Cup this summer. Vida only joined the Turkish side in January from Dynamo Kiev but his form this summer has seen him become a hot commodity in Europe.
Aspor are suggesting Spurs have bid €18 million (£15.9m) for the player who is also interesting the likes of Everton and Liverpool.
However, with his form at the World Cup and the fact he only recently joined the Turkish side, they are said to want much more for his services.

Real Madrid legend Michel Salgado wants his former club to pursue the transfer of Tottenham striker Harry Kane as a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese star appears to be on his way out of the club, with a deal to join Juventus in the offing.
