Vertonghen backs Spurs’ England players
Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen has backed his Tottenham team-mates at England to make the World Cup final.
The Belgian was knocked out of the World Cup by France yesterday but believes the likes of Harry Kane, Kieran Trippier and Dele Alli can take England to the final.
As reported by the London Evening Standard, he stated his belief that England will get the better of Croatia this evening.

Brown no deal
Tottenham Hotspur youngster Jaden Brown is back at the club despite seeking a move away recently.
The talented left-back spent time training with Dutch side NEC Nijmegen as he looked to push for a move to Holland.
However, as reported by Football London, it appears the Dutch side are not keen on bringing the player in permanently.
Rebic interest
SportBild is reporting that Manchester United, Arsenal, Napoli and Bayern Munich are all keen on Croatian attacker Ante Rebic.
The report claims that Tottenham Hotspur have already made contact with Eintracht Frankfurt about a potential move for the player.
The report claims he is available for €50 million (£44.2 million) and Spurs are looking to bring in another attacker.
