‘Wise’ Pochettino

Danish boss Age Hareide has praised Mauricio Pochettino’s handling of Christian Eriksen in recent weeks. The Danish star has been in and out of the starting XI for the club after recovering from a stomach muscle strain.

The Denmark boss told Danmarks Radio that Pochettino was being’wise’ to manage him back easily from the problem.

He also admitted he preferred it, as Eriksen was now fresher for his nation.

CCV’s future

Cameron Carter-Vickers has been discussing his future at Tottenham Hotspur. The USA international will face several club team-mates when his nation take on England at Wembley on Thursday.

He is currently on loan at Swansea City and says he will ‘look at the picture’ from Tottenham at the end of the season.

Carter-Vickers is struggling to play regularly for Swansea at present.

Lloris call

Hugo Lloris is calling for consistency at Tottenham.

The French international is happy with the club’s current league form and believes maintaining consistent form can help them finish in the top form or battle for the title this season.

Tottenham have had a great start to the season but are, however, not playing their best football.
