Vorm fed up

Tottenham are in danger of heading out of the Champions League after a 2-2 draw with PSV Eindhoven last night.

Spurs blew a 2-1 lead after Hugo Lloris was sent off and Luuk De Jong scored late in the game.

Michel Vorm, who came on to replace the Frenchman, suggests Spurs should have killed the game off.

As reported by The Guardian, the Dutchman said he was tired of the players repeatedly telling each other that they need to learn from their mistakes.

Sherwood’s positive spin

However, former Tottenham player and manager Tim Sherwood believes dropping out of the competition could be a blessing in disguise.

Speaking to Sky Sports, he suggested that Tottenham could go on and win the Europa League if they finish third in thei Champions League group.

He shared his belief that Tottenham ‘need to get a trophy’ before they can start playing freely and move on to bigger silverware.

Winning the Europa League could be seen as the perfect stepping stone.

Not a penny Under £52m

According to reports in Turkey, Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly willing to offer £52 million for Roma winger Cengiz Under.

Aksam is claiming that Spurs are keen on the Turkish international, who has been fine form since joining Roma from Basaksehir in 2017.

The report adds that Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Barcelona are also keen.
