Son’s hopes

South Korea striker Heung-min Son has been discussing his upcoming absence from the national team.

Tottenham Hotspur allowed the forward to play at the Asian Games this summer, in the agreement he would miss the November friendlies and the first two games of the Asian Cup in January.

Speaking to Yonhap News, he stated his belief that he needed ‘to recover’ and that it will help him return better for his national team.

£30m Milenkovic

Tottenham have a fight on their hands if they want Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic. The Serbian star was linked with a move to Tottenham by The Mirror this week, as Spurs aim to bring in a young centre-back.

However, Corriere dello Sport are today suggesting Juventus have already laid a £40 million offer out for the player.

New stadium

Tottenham will open their new stadium to the public for the first time this weekend, as reported by the Evening Standard.

The report claims the club is hoping to have the megastore inside the ‘The Tottenham Experience’ for Saturday morning.

Spurs fans will find out Friday if they can get a first glimpse inside their new home.
