Barca scouting

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has been spotted scouting Barcelona B this weekend. The Argentine, who spends his time away from Spurs back in the Catalan capital, watched as Barcelona B took on Cornella in the Segunda Division B.

As relayed by Sky Sports, the Argentine took in the action with the report suggesting talented midfielder Riqui Puig was the reason for his visit.

The report claims that Pochettino may have been personally watching the 19-year-old.

De Ligt worries

Tottenham look unlikely to win the race for Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt. According to The Mirror, Barcelona are likely to win the race for the talented young defender.


Tottenham have long been linked with the Dutchman as a potential long-term replacement for Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen.

Kalinic linked

The Sun on Sunday has suggested that Tottenham may be considering a move for Croatian goalkeeper Lovre Kalinic.

The Sun on Sunday (18/11/18, pg 65) is reporting that the Croatian stopper, who is currently with Belgian side Gent, is a potential option for Tottenham as a replacement for the likely departing Michel Vorm.
