Poch on January
Mauricio Pochettino has opened up about Tottenham’s January transfer plans in a press conference before the club’s League Cup semi-final with Chelsea on Tuesday night.
The Argentine admitted that he was open to the idea of signing players in January but does ‘not expect’ to do so, in quotes reported by Football.London.
He also made it clear that signing players was not dependent on letting others go, but rather finding the right player for the team.

Dembele option
He also spoke about Mousa Dembele. He said he has ‘heard nothing yet’ on the player, who has been linked with a move to China.
The Belgian is out of contract at the end of the season and Tottenham are believed to be open to his sale.
Pochettino stated that the situation with Dembele ‘is so clear’, suggesting an offer would be considered.
Eriksen contact
Real Madrid have reportedly ‘made initial steps’ toward signing Christian Eriksen from Tottenham Hotspur.
The Independent suggest Barcelona are no longer in the running for the player but Spurs may have a fight on keeping Real Madrid away from the Danish playmaker.
A £100 million offer is reportedly being lined up.
