Parrott promoted

Tottenham Hotspur could hand Troy Parrott a chance to shine in the first-team after Harry Kane’s injury blow.

The Irish striker has been in fine form for the club’s youth teams since signing from Irish side Belvedere in 2017.

The Irish youth international is a free-kick specialist who has recently trained with the Spurs first-team. TalkSPORT suggests he could get a chance in the weeks to come with Kane injured and Heung-min Son on international duty.

Zielinski linked

CalcioNapoli24 has suggested who Tottenham are considering as a potential long-term replacement for Christian Eriksen. The Danish midfielder has been linked with a move away from the club recently.

The report from Italy suggests that Polish international Piotr Zielinski is the man they would target.

He has been the subject of a failed £25 million bid in the past and now has a £60 million release clause.

Son on fire

Heung-min Son has helped South Korea to a vital Asian Cup win. His nation defeated China 2-0 and while Son did not score he played a crucial role.

He won the penalty from which Hwang Ui-jo scored the opening goal and Kim Min-jae then headed home his corner for all three points and a group win.
