Gomez linked

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in the signature of Celta Vigo attacker Maxi Gomez. According to El Pais, Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund are both keen on his signature this summer.

The Uruguayan has scored six goals in 10 La Liga appearances this season and is rightly catching the eye of potential suitors.

He has previously been targeted by the likes of West Ham United and Beijing Guoan.

Lamela on River return

Tottenham Hotspur attacker Erik Lamela has been speaking about his future today. The Argentine was asked whether he would consider a return to his beloved River Plate. Whilst admitting he was open to the move he suggested he was currently ‘only thinking’ of Tottenham.

It seems the attacker is open to a future move back to his former club, but it will not be until much later in his career.

Sissoko call-up

Moussa Sissoko’s resurgent recent form has been rewarded with a call-up to the French national team.

The £30 million man has struggled tow in over fans at Tottenham since joining the club. However, his recent form has been far more impressive and it has resulted in a return to international action.

It is his first call-up since October 2017.
