Tottenham are being linked with a January move for Celtic left-back Kieran Tierney. The Mirror reports that Spurs are hopeful of capitalising on Celtic’s failure to qualify for the Champions League by trying to lure them into a sale.
The report claims that Tottenham want to sign him in a deal worth around £10 million.
Spurs are looking likely to lose Danny Rose in the weeks or months to come, with the likes of PSG said to be interested in the England international.
Tierney could be the perfect replacement.
The Express are reporting that PSG remain keen on Rose. The French side sold Yuri Berchiche this summer and Layvin Kurzawa is currently struggling with a back injury.
It has left Paris struggling and needing a new left-back recruit.
Rose could be available, if Tottenham believe they have adequate cover with Ben Davies and Kyle Walker-Peters.
New stadium trouble
Problems at Tottenham’s new stadium could run into 2019, according to reports. The new ground was supposed to be ready for the start of the new season. However, delays soon made it evident that would not be happening.
However, it appears that playing at Wembley may continue as the norm into the new year. The Mail on Sunday report that problems with the safety systems could put the project back by six months.
