Lamela extension

Tottenham are reportedly trying to tie down Erik Lamela to a new contract, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The 26-year-old is currently under contract until 2020 but Spurs want that extended to either 2021 or 2022.

He has had his injury troubles at Spurs since a big-money move from Roma but has become a favourite with the fans for his tireless performances.,

Parrott signs

Tottenham youngster Troy Parrott has signed his first professional deal at the club. The 16-year-old started training with the club this summer after agreeing a move last year.

He impressed during the recent European Under-17 Championships, helping Ireland to the semi-finals with three goals before a controversial exit to the Netherlands.

Considered the future Robbie Keane, he is a name for Tottenham fans to listen out for.
