Tottenham Hotspur round-up: Kane pledges allegiance, Nkoudou battle and Carter-Vickers leaving

A selection of the latest news and gossip from Tottenham Hotspur.

Kane says no

Reports in Spain suggest that Harry Kane ignored interest from Real Madrid this summer.

The Spanish giants are hoping to bring in a big name signing this summer, after losing marquee man Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus.

El Pais reports that both Kane and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah’s parties were contacted by intermediaries. However, both players are very happy in their respective Premier League projects and told Real Madrid they were not interested in a move.

Real Madrid are believed to be pursuing Eden Hazard.

Nkoudou wanted

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has been told he can leave Tottenham this month and has numerous options. He has turned down a move to Bundesliga side Mainz and is now being targeted by Lille.

Mercato365 is reporting that Lille could make a move for the Tottenham star if they lose Nicolas Pepe this month.

But! recently reported that Saint-Etienne are also keen on the winger.

CCV going

Cameron Carter-Vickers is on his way to Swansea City.

The US international defender is set to be loaned out to the Championship to continue his development.

Tottenham fielded offers from several teams but he will receive plenty of first-team football at Swansea, who are lacking at centre-back.

Carter-Vickers spent last season on loan at Sheffield United and Ipswich Town and will hope to push for promotion with the Swans.
