Double injury blow
Tottenham Hotspur will be without both Hugo Lloris and Dele Alli for the weekend clash with Liverpool.
Alli recently pulled out of the England squad with a knock and has not recovered in time for the clash. Lloris is out with a thigh strain for several weeks. Michel Vorm will deputise.
Moussa Sissoko also remains out of action with a hamstring strain whilst there is positive news on Juan Foyth, as he has returned to training.
Heung-min Son is ready to get back in action for Tottenham Hotspur, after a grueling international schedule.
The South Korean played at the World Cup with his country and then helped the Taegeuk Warriors win the Asian Cup.
But he has told the London Evening Standard that he will not be using fatigue as an excuse and believes he can have an immediate impact for his club upon his return to action.
Dier could adapt
Eric Dier could be ready to return to a centre-back role in the months to come, according to The Sun.
The report claims he is open to a move backward with Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld both coming toward the end of their respective contracts at Tottenham.
Spurs have youngster Davinson Sanchez in the squad but Dier feels he can also help out at the back.
