Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly put €30 million (£26.6 million) aside to complete the transfer of Benfica left-back Grimaldo this summer, according to Record in Portugal.
In their print edition, as reported by Sport Witness, they claim Spurs have Grimaldo lined up as an option should Danny Rose try and force his way out of the club this summer.
The former Barcelona youth product has been in good form for Benfica this season and Tottenham have long been linked with his signature.
The report also claims Napoli hold a similar interest.
Le 10 Sport have another update on the Malcom situation. The French site suggests that Spurs have now begun discussions with Bordeaux over the potential signature of the Brazilian star this summer.
Inter Milan, previously the favourites to sign the Brazilian, are now out of the running and Spurs appear the favourites to sign him.
However, Chelsea are also said to be taking an interest in the 21-year-old attacker.
Tottenham are still in the hunt for Colombia World Cup star Wilmar Barrios this summer. Now, it is being reported by Marca Colombia, that Spurs have sounded out his family over a potential move to London.
The midfielder, who was linked to Spurs before the World Cup, is currently with Argentine side Boca Juniors.
No formal offer for the player has yet been made, according to the report. However, some ‘informal calls’ to the player’s relatives have been placed as Tottenham look to sign the talented midfield maestro.
