Tottenham Hotspur round-up: £35m for Grealish, Ndombele linked and talented Bazunu targeted

Still short of Jack

Tottenham Hotspur have not yet hit the transfer valuation for Jack Grealish. The London Evening Standard report that, despite Spurs’ continued interest in his services, they have not yet met the transfer fee Villa want for him.

Villa want around £35 million for the player, a fee Tottenham have not yet met.

Spurs have not yet made a transfer signing this summer. Grealish has been linked with a move to Tottenham for most of the summer. However, Villa’s return to financial stability has made a move more difficult.

Tanguy the guy

Tottenham are set to make a late bid for Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele. The North London club were linked with the player earlier this summer.

However, the French side made it clear he was not for sale.

According to L’Equipe, Tottenham are set to make a last minute surge for his services. However, with 48 hours left of the transfer window, a move for the 21-year-old now seems unlikely

Irish youngster linked

Tottenham have made a move for Shamrock Rovers’ talented young goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu. According to the Irish Independent, Spurs have made a £180,000 bid for the 16-year-old talent.

At just 16 he has become the first-team goalkeeper at Shamrock Rovers, overtaking Northern Ireland international Alan Mannus in the pecking order.

Manchester City, Chelsea and Celtic are also interested in the teenage Irish talent.
