Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly still interested in bringing Gareth Bale back to the club this summer, according to reports.
It is clear that the Welshman does not have a long-term future with Real Madrid. Re-appointed manager Zinedine Zidane is not a fan of the player and Real are happy to let him go this summer.
That became clear at the start of the summer and Tottenham were immediately linked with a return for their Welsh wizard.
Talk of a potential move has recently gone quiet. Until now.
MARCA are now reporting that Tottenham are open to a deal, but are clearly only willing to do so on their terms.

The report suggests Tottenham could spend between €50 (£45) and €60 (£53.4) million on the player.
Spurs have also made it clear that his current salary is out of their limits. MARCA suggests Tottenham could afford half of his current €17 million-a-year salary, about £295,000-a-week. Tottenham are therefore said to be willing to pay Bale around £147,500-a-week, which would surely make him the club’s highest-paid player.
Tottenham are clearly in a strong bargaining position with Real Madrid.
The Spanish side need to let go of Bale or else the recently turned 30-year-old will become a huge financial burden on the club with little to no on-field reward.
Spurs can use this to push the boundaries in any potential deal to bring Bale back to North London this summer.
