Clause for concern
It looks as though Daniel Levy has played a masterstroke by ensuring Mauricio Pochettino signed a new deal at Tottenham Hotspur at the start of the season. Earlier today saw the shock news that Zinedine Zidane was standing down as manager of Real Madrid. The French legend has decided to leave Real, despite winning another Champions League title with the club at the weekend.
That led to numerous reports in Spain linking Pochettino with the club. Undoubtedly, he would be a firm favourite of Real president Florentino Perez. Some Spanish papers even reported a ‘Real Madrid clause’ in the Argentine’s new deal. This would have reportedly seen Pochettino able to leave for a nominal fee should Real come calling.
But, as reported previously and again today by talkSPORT, Pochettino has no such clause so if Real want him, they will have to buy out his entire contract and leave Tottenham Hotspur very well compensated.

Justin decides otherwise
Tottenham Hotspur have recently been linked with a move for Ajax attacker Justin Kluivert. The 19-year-old son of Barcelona legend Patrick has been making waves in Amsterdam this season but looks set to move on.
However, it appears Spurs or any other interested party will not be getting their hands on the player.
Roma now look like the overwhelming favourites to sign Kluivert.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, the teenager has agreed to terms on a move to the Italian capital. All that needs to be agreed is a fee. Roma want to pay £17 million, whilst Ajax want £35 million, so there is some way to go in that respect.
However, it appears the Giallorossi is Kluivert’s next location.
Wembley again?
Spurs could play their opening games of next season at Wembley Stadium. Tottenham are hopeful of playing at their new stadium next to their previous White Hart Lane home from the start of next season but are planning a contingency in case it is not ready in time.
Tottenham have until the middle of June, according to the BBC, to let Wembley and the FA know they wish to start their season at the home of English football.
