Winks op

Tottenham Hotspur and England midfielder Harry Winks has undergone successful ankle surgery today as he looks to recover his fitness after an injury-ravaged season.

The 22-year-old has struggled with his left ankle for some time now but will hope the operation is a permanent solution to his problems. The plan is to be fit in time for the start of the new season, according to Sky Sports.

Winks is unfortunate to have suffered the injury when he did as he would also have most likely been in Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad.

Instead, he will watch from home but Tottenham fans will hope that Winks can find his form and fitness in 2018-19.

Khan’t touch this

Fulham owner Shahid Khan has insisted that Tottenham Hotspur target Ryan Sessegnon will not be going anywhere this summer.

The left-sided star was the star of the Championship season last campaign and is a long-term target for Spurs.

However, Fulham supremo Khan told The Times that his star player will be at Craven Cottage next season.

After winning promotion to the Premier League it does seem that Spurs won’t be able to get their hands on the player, who looks set to embark in a top-flight season with his boyhood club.

Gone-so Madueke

Tottenham are set to lose one of their top young talents, according to reports in the Netherlands. It is being reported by Eindhovens Dagblad that Nonso Madueke is on his way out of Tottenham to join PSV Eindhoven.

The report claims the 16-year-old talent has agreed to a deal in principle to sign the player, once he passes a medical examination this week.

It will be a bitter blow for Spurs, who already lost young talent Keanan Bennetts to Borussia Monchengladbach this summer.
