Pochettino heartbreak
The Times are reporting that Mauricio Pochettino wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur this summer to take over the vacant job at Real Madrid.
Spurs secured the Argentine to a new deal earlier this summer but the landscape has since changed. With Zinedine Zidane stepping down as manager of Real, the European champions are on the hunt for a new boss.
It appeared that they had decided to no longer pursue the Spurs manager, but the latest developments will likely have president Florentino Perez clamouring for the Tottenham manager.
The report continues, stating Pochettino’s hope of the two clubs finding a suitable arrangement to facilitate his departure.

Alaves interest
Fernando Llorente has a new suitor this summer, as his Tottenham Hotspur career looks to be coming to a close.
It is reported by El Gol Digital that Deportivo Alaves are now at the front of the queue to sign the player. The report claims that Alaves are afraid John Guidetti will leave the club this summer, with teams in England said to be interested in the Swede.
Their number one target to replace him is Llorente, who has struggled to settle at Tottenham since making a summer move from Swansea City 12 months ago.
Llorente, who cost Spurs a fee in the region of £12.1 million, has failed to live up to expectations as the back up to Harry Kane and was eventually overlooked for Heung-min Son.
Alaves are hopeful they can secure a deal and it would be a good move for the 33-year-old.
Walkes is walking away
Tottenham youngster Anton Walkes looks set to leave Spurs this summer. Football London is reporting today that the 21-year-old utility player is ready to join League One side Portsmouth on a permanent deal.
The right-back, who can also play in central-midfield or centre-back, joined Pompey on loan in January following a successful spell in the United States with new MLS team Atlanta United.
Portsmouth are clearly impressed with what they saw and a permanent deal should now be pushed forward.
