With Harry Kane signing his contract extension at the club on Friday, it is easy for Spurs fans to have missed the fact another of their attackers has committed his future to the club.
Reo Griffiths, who scored 33 goals for the club’s youth teams last season, has been the talk of the town in recent weeks. Teams such as RB Leipzig, Juventus, Celtic and Barcelona are all being linked with a move for the player.
However, as reported by Football.London, the forward has committed to the third-year of his scholarship.
That does not mean the 18-year-old will be playing first-team football next season, The report states he will remain with the under-23s.
Recently released by Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Cy Goddard is set to embark on a new career in Italian football.
Calciomercato are reporting the 21-year-old is potentially on his way to Benevento. The Italian side were relegated from Serie A last season and are now planning to build for a promotion push next term.
Goddard is out of a deal at Spurs, with no extension being offered to his previous contract. He will hope to gain the first-team football he failed to achieve whilst at Tottenham in Italy.
Adams has a pop
Arsenal hero Tony Adams has taken a cheap pop at Tottenham Hotspur’s England players today. The former Arsenal captain states he ‘worries’ about the Tottenham players, suggesting to ESPN they don’t ‘know how to win’.
He also suggested England do not have enough experience to win the tournament.
Tottenham fans will not be impressed by the comments, considering Adams’ past. Hopefully, the Tottenham players can prove him wrong this summer.
