Inter Milan are prepared to offer Tottenham Hotspur a player in exchange for Mousa Dembele. The Belgian’s future at the club is currently under scrutiny amid a contract wrangle. Inter have emerged as one of the favourites to secure his signature and are clearly hopeful of putting some sort of deal together.
Now, according to Tuttosport, Inter are set to add another dimension to their attempts to sign the midfield maestro.
They are prepared to throw Portuguese international Joao Mario into any deal. The midfielder impressed on loan at West Ham in the second half of last season and, it appears, is not wanted at the San Siro.
Despite Mario being a very good player, Tottenham would surely feel they are getting something of a downgrade.
Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has been named the world’s most valuable player in the annual study by the CIES Football Observatory.
Based on his age, contract and form among many other variables the study shows that Kane is worth around £177 million – £5 million more than nearest rival Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain.
Dele Alli is also valued at over £150 million.
Kane has been in fine form for Spurs for a number of seasons now so it is no surprise to see him valued at such a high price.
Fans will just hope nobody tries to tempt Spurs with such a massive offer.
Nobody for Toby
Tottenham appear to be in danger of losing Toby Alderweireld this summer, but it would appear not much is currently ongoing regarding the deal.
Spurs have failed to agree a new contract with the player and he is believed to be a target for Manchester United.
However, Football.London report that the two sides are currently not in any discussion about a potential transfer.
Alderweireld is still expected to leave Spurs this summer, but it seems United are not being overly proactive over any prospective deal.
