Christian Eriksen is being consistently linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur in recent weeks. The likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have both been linked with a move for the Danish talisman.
The latest reports from the Sunday Express suggest that the French side are lining up a £100 million move for the player.
Real Madrid have also been linked with a move, the suggestion being Eriksen would be the perfect replacement for Luka Modric should the Croatian decide to move on.
Of course, it is extremely unlikely that Tottenham will be selling Eriksen before the transfer window in France and Spain shuts at the end of the month.
But even if Tottenham do eventually consider selling him, £100 million is simply not enough.
The market has changed dramatically since Tottenham snapped up Eriksen for an unbelievably cheap price of £11.5 million from Ajax in 2013.
The perfect example is Philippe Coutinho. He headed to Barcelona in January for a fee reported to be in the region of £146 million. Now Liverpool fans would argue to the hilt with Spurs supporters over who the better is. So to say the least, the duo on par. So Tottenham should not even consider selling Eriksen until the £146 million barrier is broken.
