Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld has yet another team interested in his services. According to the Mirror, Barcelona are now keen on bringing the Belgian to the Nou Camp.
The 29-year-old has been stuck in contract standstill with Spurs for some time and it seems Barca are ready to try and captialise on that fact.
Tottenham are certainly in a delicate position with Alderweireld. They could lose him for just £25 million next summer due to a clause in his current contract. However, selling him in January could see Daniel Levy rake in some extra cash for Spurs.
But it is not just cash that Tottenham should be considering. The sale of Alderweireld could also help them with a potential player swap.

If Tottenham sell Alderweireld to Barcelona, they should ensure that Rafinha heads the opposite direction.
Spurs were reportedly interested in the player this summer, according to FC Inter News. Football.London reported he would have been worth €35 (£31) million if he had completed a permanent switch to Inter, with whom he spent last year on loan.
The Brazilian international is a potential star if given the chance to shine on a regular basis. However, he is currently wasting away on the Barca bench and the arrivals of Arthur and Arturo Vidal in the summer has pushed him further down the pecking order.
With Mousa Dembele set to leave, the 25-year-old could be the perfect replacement for the Belgian it finally given the chance to thrive.
