Tottenham Hotspur fans want Tanguy Ndombele to play after 3-1 loss to Sheffield United

The French midfielder eventually did come into the game for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur’s European hopes took a massive blow this evening, being beaten by Sheffield United 3-1 at Bramall Lane.

The Blades sauntered in to score three goals through the imperious Sander Berge, Lys Mousset, and Oli McBurnie. Harry Kane netted a late consolation goal.

Tottenham fans were rightly fuming with plenty of the performances as their defence in particular effectively allowed the Blades to slice through the team with relative ease.

Davison Sanchez, Serge Aurier, Moussa Sissoko, and Ben Davies all had games to forget.

But Tottenham were also missing a major threat in creativity between attack and defence.

Spurs, yet again lacked a creative spark and for some fans, they felt the best option to give Tottenham that extra dimension was sitting on the bench.

Tanguy Ndombele was the player they were calling for and the Frenchman eventually did come on and showed some of his better qualities in the final stages of the game.

A couple of exquisite passes here and there highlighted just what the club’s record signing can do if given a chance.

Tottenham fans will certainly be hoping to see Ndombele playing regularly for the rest of the season.
