Tottenham Hotspur fans react to Tanguy Ndombele performance against Red Star Belgrade

The French midfielder continues to show why Tottenham spent big to sign him in the summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have beaten Red Star Belgrade 4-0 in Serbia this evening in a game from which they can take many positives.

Heung-min Son scored two goals after a difficult week, Eric Dier played a full 90 minutes, Paulo Gazzaniga again looked superb, Juan Foyth made the right-back spot his own, Dele Alli is getting back to his best, Christian Eriksen scored and Ryan Sessegnon and Oliver Skipp got minutes. Meanwhile, Giovani Lo Celso showed why Mauricio Pochettino wanted him so badly in the summer.

Another positive from the game was the excellent performance of Tanguy Ndombele.

The Frenchman has had a mixed start to life at Spurs since his reported (The Telegraph) £55 million move from Lyon in the summer.

He has shown glimpses of his ability but this was his most complete performance so far in a Tottenham shirt.

His power and strength in the heart of midfield are vital to Spurs but it is also his technical prowess and vision that make him such a potentially vital player.

Ndombele looks like finally replacing the gap in the Tottenham midfield left behind by Mousa Dembele’s exit to China and he is clearly winning over the Tottenham support in the process.

Here is how fans reacted to his display…
