Tottenham Hotspur fans react to reports Bruno Fernandes wants to join

Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer business does not yet look done with the club seemingly in the hunt for another midfielder. 

As reported by Football.London, it is likely Tottenham will be signing either Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis or Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon. 

The latter is set to play his final game for Sporting tomorrow as they take on Benfica in the Portuguese Super Cup. Manchester United have also been heavily linked with the player, who scored 32 goals and assisted 18 in 53 games last season. 

Now, the Daily Mail has suggested that Fernandes wants a move to Tottenham. The report states Fernandes has ‘set his heart’ on a move to Spurs. 

The report also states that Tottenham have made an offer for the player but it falls well short of the Portuguese side’s £64 million asking price. 

The report is certainly causing a stir among Tottenham fans on Twitter. 

Many are hopeful that Tottenham can pull off a deal for the player, especially considering his impressive 2018-19 form. 

However, others are doubtful that Daniel Levy will be pushing such an expensive deal for a player who has only played in the Portuguese league.
