Tottenham Hotspur have a new interested party regarding the naming rights of their new stadium.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Amazon has emerged as a leading candidate for the deal. Nike had previously been suggested as the most likely buyers but Jeff Bezos’s giant company is now considering getting involved.
The company have been filming Tottenham Hotspur for their latest fly-on-the-wall football documentary All or Nothing and that has seemingly led into these talks. The report claims Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy hopes to agree a £25m-a-year deal for 10 years, worth £250 million to the club.

The news has certainly had a mixed reaction from Tottenham fans but most seem to be optimistic about the news.
Amazon is a giant company and whilst the ‘Amazon Arena’ does not have Tottenham fans jumping for joy, the financial benefits are not lost on the supporters. Many are also just fed up of waiting to discover the name for their new ground, which has been dubbed the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since opening in 2019.
In fact, considering Amazon’s goliath wealth, some Tottenham fans are even suggesting that Bezos and the company should just buy the club outright from long-criticised chairman Levy and the ENIC Group.
