Tottenham Hotspur took on Norwich City in a friendly fixture yesterday, which took place over four 30 minute quarters.
The final score ended up being 2-1 to Norwich City, after the Canaries scored two late goals with Tottenham fielding a near youth team at the time.
So Tottenham fans should not be too disheartened by the result and instead should look for the positives from the game.
For instance, Erik Lamela bagged the opening goal of the game. The Argentine scored a diving header from a Steven Bergwijn assist to get the game off to a perfect start for Spurs.

Indeed, plenty of Tottenham fans have reacted to the news that Lamela scored with typical humour.
The midfielder often has an impressive pre-season and start to a campaign and it seems the same applies for an enforced mid-season break.
Unfortunately, that often ends up being followed up by an injury problem.
That is one of the reasons why, according to a recent report from the Daily Star, Tottenham are open to the sale of the Argentine star, who has something of a loyal following among some members of the Tottenham fanbase.
But judging by some of the reactions to the news he had scored in today’s game, plenty of Tottenham fans would be disappointed to see Lamela leave.
