This summer is likely to see Tottenham Hotspur looking to bring in a new centre-back to replace Jan Vertonghen, who looks set to leave the club at the end of his current contract.
Plenty of names have been linked with a move to the club, including Sevilla defender Diego Carlos.
The Brazilian has been in fine form this season for the Spanish side and as Football.London pointed out again this week Jose Mourinho is believed to be a fan.
It follows a report from The Telegraph last month which suggested the 27-year-old was wanted by Spurs.

But that report made it clear there was one major stumbling block in any potential deal for the player. Sevilla would expect a fee in excess of £35 million for the player, an amount Tottenham are unlikely to pay in the current global financial situation.
Whilst the asking price is a lot lower than Carlos’s reported (ABC) €75 million release (£68m) clause, it is still a figure Spurs are unwilling to reach.
So his name popping up again as a potential Tottenham option has certainly unearthed some opinion from Tottenham fans.
Plenty have taken to Twitter to make it clear that they would love it if the club could get their hands on Carlos.
However, most were also knowledgeable enough to suggest he is likely to be out of Tottenham’s price range this summer.
Here is how some Tottenham fans have been reacting to the idea of signing Carlos from Sevilla this summer.
