Janssen future

Vincent Janssen’s future still needs to be resolved. Football.London have confirmed in the last hour that a loan deal to Schalke 04 in Germany collapsed and the Dutchman will not be heading to Gelsenkirchen.

A move to Real Betis also fell through and Spurs are now searching for a new option.

Sterling loan likely

Football.London also reports that Kazaiah Sterling should be heading out on loan to the Football League before the window shuts. He has been on the bench for Spurs recently, with Harry Kane injured and Heung-min Son on international duty.

But the South Korean’s return allows Spurs to give Sterling a chance of regular football.

Nkoudou leaves

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has joined Monaco on loan. The Frenchman has joined the Ligue 1 strugglers on a deal until the end of the season, according to the BBC.

He has struggled for first-team football at Spurs since his move from Marseille and is now looking to help his new team out of a shock relegation battle.

Tielemans opt-out

As expected, it appears Tottenham will not be signing any players. They were linked with a potential move for Belgian international Youri Tielemans. However, as reported by the Daily Mail, they decided not to follow up on that line of enquiry.
