Antonio Nusa looks to be edging closer to a move to Tottenham.
The Club Brugge attacker is said to be one of Tottenham’s top targets towards the end of the transfer window, and it’s thought that a deal could be done before the transfer deadline.
However, according to Fabrizio Romano, there could still be a spanner in the works with this deal.
Indeed, according to Romano, speaking on the Men in Blazers Podcast, Tottenham are very keen on Nusa, but other clubs are also said to be circling Nusa.
According to Romano, many clubs, especially in England, want to sign Nusa, and he says that Tottenham will have to get this deal done quickly if they want to land the player as there’s a risk of a late hijack from elsewhere.

Nusa deal could be hijacked
Romano shared what he knows about the £26m attacker.
“The idea from Tottenham is signing the player now and letting him stay at Club Brugge until the end of the season and then joining in the summer. Let me say that Nusa is attracting a lot of interest, it’s not only Tottenham, other clubs, especially from England are keeping an eye on this situation so Tottenham have to be fast, otherwise other clubs can jump into the race and hijack the move, so Nusa is the next top target,” Romano said.
Hurry up
It sounds as though Tottenham will have to be speedy in negotiations to get this deal done, and luckily, that’s something Tottenham have proven to be quite good at as of late.
Indeed, they didn’t dally on the Radu Dragusin deal, and that allowed them to beat Bayern Munich to his signature, while Timo Werner was signed just days after he was initially linked with a move to Spurs.
Spurs have turned into quite swift operators in the transfer market, and that should bode well in terms of their chances of signing Nusa.
