Bristol City want a fee of £12 million to sell Alex Scott during the January transfer window.
That is according to journalist Ben Jacobs on Twitter, who claims that a host of clubs including Tottenham are keen on the 19-year-old.
Jacobs also said that there is plenty of Premier League interest in the midfielder, in the shape of Bournemouth, Wolves, Leicester, Leeds United and Brighton.
Spurs and Brighton may feel they have an advantage as they are not at risk of relegation, unlike the other potential suitors, to various degrees.

Bristol City want £12 million for Scott
Scott was part of the England squad who won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship in 2022, and that underlines his quality and potential.
Yet, Jacobs says the fee is proving an issue for potential suitors, and perhaps owners want to spend on more established stars in the mid-season window.
Jacobs said last month that Scott could well make a move to the top flight before too long and he was one to keep an eye on.
As per the Bristol Post, City midfielder Andy King has been effusive in his praise of Scott, stating last month: “I think I went on record last year and said that he was probably the best 17-year-old I have played with.
“When you look at some of the players who I’ve had the privilege of playing with, you look at Ben Chilwell, Harvey Barnes, people like that who have gone on to play for England, I saw them at 17/18 and I think certainly, at 17, Scotty was ahead of those.
“He can go as far as he wants because he’s got a mature head on his shoulders and all the talent in the world.
“What will stand him in the best stead is that he is willing to learn, and he will listen, not just with me but with anyone who gives him information, he knows you’re just trying to help and that will take you a long way.”
