Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou has a lot to think about with regards to his starting XI to face Wolves on Saturday.
Spurs played out a chaotic Premier League encounter against Chelsea on Monday that cost Postecoglou’s side four players for their upcoming match.
James Maddison and Micky van de Ven suffered injuries that the Tottenham boss confirmed would likely see them out until the new year.
Meanwhile, Destiny Udogie and Cristian Romero were sent off to leave them suspended for the trip to Molineux in the day’s early kickoff.
In terms of who could replace Maddison, Giovani Lo Celso is the most likely option. However, there’s scope for Rodrigo Bentancur to play there as well.

The Uruguay international is finally back in action after months on the sidelines due to an ACL injury he suffered in February.
Bentancur has been eased back into action over the past few matchdays and will fancy his chances of featuring against Wolves.
With Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma cementing their roles in midfield, the 26-year-old could well be deployed at No. 10, either from the off or as a substitute.
Tottenham ace has World Cup experience at No. 10
Bentancur has experience playing in that position for club and country. Indeed, he helped Uruguay reach the 2018 World Cup quarter-finals with three outings at No. 10.
His most important contribution in the tournament was his assist for Edinson Cavani’s second goal in the 2-1 victory against Portugal in the Round of 16.
If the Spurs ace was deemed worthy of feeding the ball to Cavani and Luis Suarez, and was good enough to help his team reach the final eight, then he’s certainly worth a shout.
Admittedly, Postecoglou will probably not risk Bentancur from the off when he has Lo Celso, an established No. 10, and Dejan Kulusevski, who also has considerable experience in that position, ahead of him.
Nevertheless, Bentancur is another ‘outstanding‘ option that the Spurs manager has at his disposal.
Perhaps we could see him off the bench and, further down the line, he could be pushing for regular starts – at 6, 8 or even 10.
