Tottenham’s hopes of landing either Milan Skriniar or Ivan Perisic have been boosted, with Inter Milan being forced into something of a fire sale.
Calciomercato claims that Inter now need to sell some of their players in order to balance the books after enduring a miserable Champions League campaign which has impacted their income.
The likes of Perisic and Skriniar have both been linked with Spurs in recent times, while Christian Eriksen is another who could see himself out the door in order to help Inter out.
FootMercato claimed just yesterday that talks were underway over a potential loan deal for Perisic, while Skriniar has been linked since the summer and is a name that doesn’t want to go away.
A number of clubs are said to be keeping tabs on Inter’s situation. Indeed, Football.London claims the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal are also keeping a watchful eye on proceedings in Italy.

This might well prove one of the best things that could happen for Spurs, especially in the historically tricky January window.
Any opening is a massive plus for Spurs. Perisic would be a fine attacking signing, while Skriniar is long admired by Jose Mourinho and may now be available at a knockdown price.
Inter need to get their house in order and Spurs will be keeping more than a close eye on things here. January could yet prove fruitful for Jose Mourinho afterall.
