Tottenham fans have been having their say on social media today after club legend, Jurgen Klinsmann, declared his interest in the job.
Klinsmann was speaking on the BBC’s coverage last night. As covered by TBR earlier today, the German admitted he would be open to the job.

The German legend had two spells in North London and is something of a cult hero with the Spurs faithful. His goals, as well as his controversial diving celebration, embedding him in the Tottenham supporters’ hearts.
But while Klinsmann is well-liked by Spurs fans, it can’t be said that the notion of him being manager went down too well.
His indifferent spells in charge of the likes of Bayern and the USA leave a lot to be desired. Further, he’s nowhere near the first choice for Daniel Levy.
Tottenham fans want nothing to do with Klinsmann as manager
It’s quite surprising given the situation the club is in, but the majority of fans don’t seem to want Klinsmann at Spurs.
It seems that the German’s goals and legendary status aren’t enough. Instead, the Tottenham faithful want a better manager through the door.
The nightmare scenario involving Paulo Fonseca and then Gennaro Gattuso has left a lot to be desired. Klinsmann, then, is not the man Spurs fans want either.
Here’s a look at what was being said on Twitter, as Jurgen Klinsmann declared his interest in the Tottenham job.
