Tottenham fans want Giovani Lo Celso to start against Newcastle
Tottenham host Newcastle United on Sunday in the Premier League – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have demanded that summer signing Giovani Lo Celso is promoted to the starting XI.
The midfielder made his Spurs debut late off the bench at the weekend in the 2-2 draw against Manchester City and was not involved in the squad for the opening day win over Aston Villa.
He joined the North London club this summer from Real Betis on a season-long loan, with an option to buy (Sky Sports).
The Argentina international played 45 games across all competitions for Spanish outfit Betis last season, scoring 16 goals and supplying six assists in return.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media have suggested Lo Celso gets his first against Newcastle, who have lost both their opening league games.
The 23-year-old creative playmaker would see plenty of the ball if he was introduced to the XI on Sunday, but manager Mauricio Pochettino has a wealth of talents at his disposal.
Harry Winks, Tanguy Ndombele, Moussa Sissoko, Erik Lamela and Christian Eriksen were the options used against Manchester City behind striker Harry Kane.
Lo Celso’s versatility means he could fill a number of roles in the team, but he may need to be patient for his big break at his new club.

No ones making it out to be a crime. Just saying that we’re playing a very poor Newcastle team… give Lo Celso a game to see what he’s about.
