Tottenham fans are eager for the club to hire Massimilano Allegri as their next manager following the sacking of Jose Mourinho last month.

The Evening Standard report that the former Juventus manager is considering an approach from the north London club to take up the position, with Ryan Mason in interim charge of the Premier League side until the end of the season with three games left to play.

Tottenham are searching heavily for their successor to Mourinho after the Portuguese manager was fired a few days before the League Cup final, a fixture Spurs lost to Manchester City 1-0, but Allegri has proven to be a popular option amongst supporters on social media, and fans are keen for the club to pursue the Italian coach over the coming weeks.
