Antonio Conte is looking into the possibility of luring Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli to Tottenham – and Spurs fans are all for the potential signing.
Tottenham have been linked with numerous Serie A players since the club announced the arrival of Conte. Milan skipper Romagnoli is just one.
His teammate Franck Kessie, Inter stars Stefan de Vrij, Marcelo Brozovic and Nicolo Barella – and Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic are all linked.
CalcioMercato say Romagnoli, 26, is another player Conte wants. He is out of contract in June, despite remaining incredibly important to Milan.
Indeed, the 12-time Italy international has played 231 times for Milan since joining the club in 2015 from Roma. But January could see him leave.
That is because Tottenham are interested, with Conte looking to lure him to North London. A cut-price fee of just £8.5million is enough for Romagnoli.

What are Tottenham fans saying as Conte reportedly eyes Romagnoli?
Well, Tottenham do need a left-footed centre-back – especially if Conte wants to play a back three. Ben Davies is better at left-back.
Jan Vertonghen left the club in 2020, without being replaced. Cristian Romero, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez and Joe Rodon are all right-footed.
For £8.5million or perhaps even less, Romagnoli is a bargain. Tottenham fans think so at least, reacting on Twitter to reports Conte is keen.
