Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico – and many of the club’s supporters are thrilled with the idea of bringing him in.
According to the Sun, Spurs are weighing up a £15million move for the left-back after scouting him numerous times.
It is understood that Dutch giants Ajax are set to cash in on the 26-year-old, with Arsenal and Barcelona also named as potential suitors for him.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side could have their work cut out trying to land the Argentina international, who has been in brilliant form this season.
He’s helped Ajax reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League and is an attack-minded full-back.
The South American has made 34 appearances across all competitions so far this campaign, scoring five goals and supplying five assists in return to highlight his quality in the final third.

Spurs do currently have Danny Rose and Ben Davies as senior options at left-back, while Jan Vertonghen has also shown his versatility by dropping into the position when required.
But some of the club’s fans feel Tagliafico could still be an excellent signing and one claimed he is ideal for manager Pochettino.
